Simple Flax Crackers with Lemon

The basic flax cracker recipe (flax seed + water + optional salt), but made with lemon juice. Interesting!

From Raw Food Home Recipes.

  • 4 cups of whole flax seeds, soaked 4-6 hours in 3 cups water
  • 1/3 – 1/2 cups nama shoyu or Bragg’s Liquid Aminos (not really raw, but good)
  • juice of 2-3 lemons

Mix flax, soy sauce, and lemon juice. Keep mixture moist and loose for spreading. Spread mixture as thin as possible. Dehydrate at 40 degrees for 5-6 hours in dehydrator, on teflex. Flip over, remove teflex and dehydrate on mesh sheet another 4-5 hours until desired crispness.
